We arose easily this morning (I think we have FINALLY adapted to the change in time) and walked down to the market in Bormes. The market is naturally much smaller this time of year when there aren't so many tourists. We browsed the stalls and I settled on a few very pretty scarves, which were a very good price. We will go back to the market that will be held on Saturday to see if other vendors are in attendance.
After visiting the Bormes market we drove down to Le Lavandou, a sea-side town below Bormes. It was nice to be outside in the bright sunshine after the rain the last few days. We walked around Le Lavandou and settled on eating lunch in a small restaurant facing the sea.
After lunch we wandered over to the boules courts and watched some of the locals play the wonderful game of boules.
